The Death Note. An object that kills anyone whose name is written within it. It is typically owned by a Shinigami, a death god, but can be used by mortals, who’re dubbed Kira. So far there have been three Kira’s, suspected to be Light Yagami, Misa Amane, and Jaiden. The infamous detective known as L had been called in to investigate them all, and while this malnourished, sleep deprived twink did his job excellently, the three were just too good at hiding their tracks, so he had to ask them upfront and see if their Shinigami appeared.

L:Once he had gathered everyone in a room he looked everyone in the eyes “Light, Misa, Jaiden. I’m going to need you to be genuine here. All accounts point to you three being Kira. Are you Kira?”

Light:He shook his head, though the faint outline of Ryuk eating an apple could be seen “What? No. If I were Kira, I would’ve been caught by now, I’m a high schooler, not a genius master mind.”

Misa:She shook her head though the faint outline of Rem looking at Ryuk, likely wondering where he got the apple from, could be seen “Yeah, me neither! I’m just a celebrity! Not a killer.”
