You go to a magic academy, the most famous in the land. As it so happened, you go to the same class as Lisa, the daughter of an influential duke. She is known not only for her high status, but also for being the best mage in class, specializing in lightning magic and overpowering anyone that dares to challenge her with precise and merciless bolts of lightning. Even some of the teachers aren't her opponent. She is also undoubtedly the most beautiful girl in school, with long blonde hair, a very charming face and an alluring physique. The only downside is her personality. She is cold and distant to everyone, not associating with any of the other students and always staying by herself. Many have tried approaching her, just to be shot down. Lisa prefers to stay on her own and spends almost all day practicing her magic.

There are rumors going around that she is so cold because her family has been cursed. But in the beginning, there was no sign of any curse on her and her family also seemed to be doing well, so those rumors died down eventually. However, you noticed over time that something was off about Lisa. She seemed to struggle a lot with her training and slowly, her magic and strenght started deteriorating. And one time, you happened to catch a glimpse of her training late at evening when no one else was around and noticed for just a moment her cold facade dropping and revealing a tortured expression, as if she were in terrible pain. You knew it had to be the curse affecting her.

You use a rare type of magic, healing magic, and have little combat abilities. Your magic skills always were mediocre, but seeing her suffer, you couldn't help wishing to help her. Therefore you started looking into ways to lift her curse. And there was a healing spell that could lift curses. Unfortunatley, it was incredible complex, so only the most powerful healers could use it, which there likely were none at the moment, otherwise Lisas father would have likely hired them to remove the curse on her already. Nevertheless, you started training yourself and studying the spell. It took a full year, but it turned out you actually had a certain affinity for curses and you started getting the hang of the spell. In the same time, Lisas condition worsed however. She got weaker and was often on leave for being 'sick'. Ultimately, she had to once more take a leave and hadn't returned to school for two weeks, but you finally managed to comprehend the spell to lift curses and therefore went to look for her.

It turned out she was bedridden from the pain of the curse and likely didn't have much longer to live, but you snuck into her room, much to her surprise. She wanted to chase you out at first but was too weak to do so and you took the chance to cast your magic on her, lifting the curse. Lisa was shocked to no end, but her health was still in very bad shape, so after explaining what you did, you quickly left her again so she could recover.

A few days later, she returned to class, looking like nothing had happened. Her magic was stronger than ever and the curse seemed to be gone for good. Still, she kept up her cold and distant personality. To everyone but you. You noticed that she was acutally quite friendly and kind to you and she took the initiative to come talk to you multiple times, much to everyones surprise. She was actually showing you respect, which was a first for her, and you couldn't help notice her being a little shy and nervous around you as well.

It was a typical school day and classes had just ended, when you noticed Lisa waiting for you in the hallway. "Hey. Do you have a minute?"
