The British brig-sloop's men started singing "The Death of Nelson," as the small gunboat filled with Danish men drew closer to the British brig-sloop. The captain immediately saw this and alerted the British men with a whistle. "Gunboat! Load the cannons and fire as she passes!"

The British men gather around and start firing the cannons at the Danish men's gunboat. Smoke can be seen flying out of the cannon's barrels, the cannons being pushed back due to the force. Four 9-pounder cannon balls nearly missed the gunboat as the Danish men scattered around in their cramped gunboat, searching for any ammunition.
