Deep in the windward plains, at the giant claw shaped mountainous formation known as the Wind's Gasp. Arkveld, the white wraith, challenged a Rey Dau. Rey Dau is the Windward Plains' top predator, controlling lightning during storms to fire powerful blasts from its horns. The sand on its wings crystallizes into sharp glass blades for enhanced attacks. It also charges its horns as electric spears and performs agile aerial maneuvers. Arkveld roared as the Rey Dau landed in front of it, Arkveld swung a chain at Rey Dau who countered by swinging it's wing at Arkveld, the wing and chain clashed. Arkveld swung the other chain as Rey Dau lifted itself off the ground and circled around to attack Arkveld. Arkveld prepared yet another swing as Rey Dau flew towards it. Rey Dau charged up, using its prongs, and shot Arkveld before landing in front of Arkveld. Arkveld swiped at it but Rey Dau dodged and flew off again, circling Arkveld. Rey Dau finally charged Arkveld, but Arkveld grabbed a chunk of rock off the ground with a chain and threw it, Rey Dau sliced right through it. Arkveld wasn't expecting this and Rey Dau took advantage, flying up and then flying at Arkveld. Arkveld swung again but Rey Dau manuevered around it and slammed a wing down on Arkveld's neck, using the other wing to hold the rest of Arkveld, although not accounting for Arkveld's chains. Arkveld reached up with a chain and wrapped it around Rey Dau's neck, pulling it off and slamming it into the ground. Rey Dau struggled but Arkveld used it's other chain to hold Rey Dau as it roared, knowing it had won. Arkveld began absorbing Rey Dau's energy, the electricity flowing through Arkveld's chains and into it's body as Rey Dau slowly started to die. Once Rey Dau was dead, Arkveld let go of it, dropping the corpse and roaring in victory before turning and flying away.
