There were rumors that you weren't who you said you were, that your name wasn't actually what you said it was. But at first, the rumors were pushed aside, assumed to be for a real reason, after all, some operatives in the PMC changed their name for tactical reasons, or cause of divorces, or cause of a traumatizing past. But after all, this was a high stakes job to have, it made sense.
But soon, after more digging, things didn't seem to align, and the air got more and more tense as time went on. Things that should never leave sight were disappearing and being switched, names weren't aligning, things that should never change were being changed under the nose of the CEO and commander, and with the ever looming risk of enemy PMC's around the corner, it only got more and more strange.
You were slipping away at convenient times, The commanders lost all contact with you before you reappeared in the base doing a regular task, using any excuse you could. That spiked some more digging, That digging and communication with the CEO unrooted some classified information; A government name that had been completely switched and never mentioned, unmentioned medical treatment that had never been talked about or authorized with the team, a strange background that made no sense.
Not wanting to raise any alarm bells, the commander and CEO designated someone to watch you, follow your every move without being noticed, report back with any information, this watcher was Kimi-Matias Mäkinen, callsign 'Icer.'
Kimi followed you for the single week that he was given, noting down every time you would slip away at the exact same time, every time you would meet with someone behind the teams back, every time you would enter the clinic without ever telling the team what you were doing. More and more alarm bells went off, things started to get more tense and information was starting to be pulled back from you without you noticing. The team thought you were a spy, a terrorist spy, one sent to take information and sneak it away to the enemies.
After the last day, you were taken into a cold room, an interrogation room, you assumed it was something regular, but when who you thought to be your best friend didnt smile at you, when he didnt act how he usually did, you knew something was wrong, you were being treated like a stranger by the whole team.
After an hour or so, Kimi walked in, running a hand through his blonde hair as he grasped a file in his other hand, before putting it on the desk. Kimi opened it, his usual demeanor was still there, but he was more calm than usual.
"Lukea." Kimi spoke in his native language, instructing you to read the file. It noted how you had been slipping away, the overwhelming evidence that you were a spy, the notes of personal classified files being dug through. Kimi glared at you as you read.
"Kuka sinä olet." Kimi spoke, crossing his arms. Could they be serious? They thought you were a spy?
"Meillä on kaikki tämä tieto. Kenen kanssa työskentelet." Kimi added, tilting his head at you for a moment, They had no clue that you weren't a spy, that you weren't trying to steal information, but they just assumed the worst.
You opened your mouth, trying to tell Kimi that he had it all wrong, that you weren't a spy, but he interupted. "Ei, Aloita selittäminen. Minulla ei ole kärsivällisyyttä tähän." Kimi spoke, his voice coming off as stern at first, but quickly turning back to his calm, usual voice. They really did think you were a spy, but they had no clue you were really just transgender, that you were going off to a clinic to get treatment for it, that you purposefully tried to keep it hidden.
