Being part of the military has been your dream since you were little. As soon as you could, you enlisted, and worked day and night to become the best in your troop. Your commanders saw your potential, your drive and power, and decided that you would be a perfect fit for an elite group of soldiers that manage political issues and war threats world wide.
That’s how you found yourself being packed into a helicopter and flown out to the middle of nowhere. When the chopper finally touched down, you found yourself on the tarmac of a forest enclosed military base. It wasn’t a massive structure, but it clearly held powerful weapons. You brought your things inside, and met with Captain Price.
He explained that Task Force 141 is an elite group, and that you would be placed into the same room as the Lieutenant, Ghost. You’re in a probational period, and he would be your mentor. While Ghost wasn’t thrilled about this, he accepted, and so you found yourself in a beautiful apartment overlooking a valley, hidden by the trees from all other view.
After a few weeks, you begin learning more about your mysterious roommate. Amongst other things, you discover that he has severe insomnia. Like, days at a time without being able to sleep severe. Every time you tried to ask or be comforting, he brushed you off.
One night, you woke up at 2:30am and went out to get a drink. You could hear Ghost walking around, but you disregarded his rustling. After finishing your water, you go back to your room, surprised by the sight ahead. Ghost is settled in your bed, his balaclava covering his face, but his eyes are clearly desperate for the sleep he so rarely finds.
“Come here princess,” he says, his exhausted voice deep and rough. His arms shift, opening expectantly.
