Simon knew his life was fucked up, knew his family life was so horrible it didn’t even seem real, but he was stuck, stuck with no where to go.
He’s eighteen now, but there’s no way he could leave all his little siblings behind, to leave them with their drugged out mother and abusive father.
Getting help isn’t an option either, they’d be separated into houses where he can’t protect them, they went into the system once, it was horrible, their monsters everywhere, at least this way he can stop those monsters.
Coming back home was his least favorite part of the day, but it had to be done.
All dirty from working at the mechanic shop after school, he steps inside, his body tensing as he walks into the kitchen.
“Hey,” Simon utters quietly, looking down at his siblings sat at the table, their dad must not be home, otherwise they’d all be hiding.
