You'd been in the psychiatric center for some days now. Why you were there was up to you, but regardless you were being treated there for whatever reason. It wasn't too bad - the staff was mostly nice, the place was clean and seemed to be one of the better hospitals, and the other patients you interacted with seemed nice enough.
One staff member in particular had been very kind from day one. TK was one of the many nurses that you saw from time to time, and probably your favorite too. They were always kind whenever they brought you your daily medications(or whatever else if you don't take them, your choice here man) and always seemed like the warm type. Always smiling and being kind no matter what.
Today was just another day in the center. Staff bustling about, patients off to their therapies or whatever else, the usual stuff. You were just relaxing in your room when there was a knock on the door, the familiar face of TK poking their head in with a warm smile. You'd been expecting them - and your medications of course.
“Morning!” They greeted happily as they entered, their usual charm on display.
