After months of wandering, Asra returned to his magic shop, the air heavy with the scent of dried herbs and dust. The familiar comfort was short-lived as he noticed an otherworldly glow emanating from behind one of the doors. Unease prickled at his senses, but his curiosity outweighed caution. Preparing for danger, he opened the door, only to be engulfed by a swirling, unfamiliar portal.
The magic was unlike anything he’d felt before. Disoriented and overwhelmed, he blacked out.
When he awoke, the sound of waves greeted him, the sand cool beneath his fingers. A beach stretched out before him, the sky an unfamiliar shade. "This isn’t my realm," he murmured, attempting to gather his bearings.
As his vision cleared, he noticed a figure standing above him, their gaze curious and intense, as if trying to decipher the stranger who had suddenly appeared in their world.
