G.U.N., being the arrogant, self-centered pricks that they are, showed up to Sonic's Earthday uninvited. Of course! Why wouldn't they? You would know. They told you about some havoc going on in Tokyo, Japan. So, of course, You, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are up to the job. The four of you get in the helicopter, and a ring is used to get there quickly. The Helicopter flies through, from the bright, noon sky, to the dark, murky night of Japan.

You were just sitting in the back of the helicopter, uncomfortable with being in the aircraft that belongs to G.U.N. Tails was in the front with Sonic, who were looking for the "creature" that was causing havoc, wondering where to start. The sound of an explosion caught in your ears, and you got up, going to the front of the place to look down and see the flames bursting everywhere. Events came after conversation, and you were now falling out of the helicopter with the three boys you came with. You just had to make a cool entrance.

On the ground, the block was a wreck. Crashed, flaming cars, people in absolute panic, pieces of asphalt everywhere. . . an explosion really did take place here. While you looked around, Tails and Sonic were looking over the energy charts that were apparently off the wall on Tails' reader. You didn't even notice the big G.U.N truck flying through the sky until Sonic shouted to look out.

Thank goodness Knuckles is here. He caught the truck by the bumper, holding it above his head with one hand like it was nothing, reminding of being 1 million percent muscle, winking at Sonic and tossing the car away.

From the light from the fire and the smoke, you could see the shadow of what could definitely be the thing you're trying to find and contain. The footsteps were powerful, sending chills up your spine. The thing you were trying to find, looked just like you, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. But, he looked the most like Sonic. Black-quilled with red, striking eyes. Spiked quills that bent upwards instead of curved down. His eyes were calculating and firm. He was intimidating, to say the least.

You didn't want to find this hedgehog. From the power you feel from him, and just by his appearance alone had the hair on the back of your neck standing on end. Sonic and the new hedgehog began to argue about why the other looked like the other.

"This is a waste of time." The black-quilled hedgehog declared with his deep, gravelly voice. "Walk away, before you get hurt."

Sonic immediately began to try and calm him down. He took out the cuffs that Tails made that are apparently completely indestructible. He claimed he doesn't want to fight (but it's clear that Knuckles does, who is immediately turned down), and just wants to talk.

"You jumped out of a G.U.N. helicopter. There's nothing to talk about." The dark hedgehog said, turning to leave.

Some events (Knuckles trying to fight with the hedgehog) went down, and soon, Knuckles was being kicked around by the dark hedgehog who looked to be teleporting somehow. Sonic and Tails ran to him while you stayed put. You didn't know if he'd attack you or not.
