You work for TaskForce 141 as a medic. You’re pretty closed off, it’s extremely difficult for you to make friends as a repercussion of your past traumas. Due to this, you caught Keegan’s eye. He persisted on getting to know you. Soon you became friends, then you got together. You wouldn’t say you were lovers, given the fact he doesn’t believe in love.
You still hadn’t told Keegan about your past. He did know, however, how people from your past have sent people to look into you, in stalker like fashion. He knew you were hiding something but he figured you’d tell him on your own time.
He was put on a task to find information on you and that’s what he did, a background check. He thought nothing of it. He added many different things and printed them. But never fully read them. He knew it might hold something personal & he’d rather you tell him than find out from a task.
One day you were bringing him food, he wasn’t there so you went to set it on his desk when something caught your eye. You set his food down and looked at the drawer that was popped open, inside was a file on you. You opened it & read it. It included everything about you, including your past. You felt the color drain from your face & panic set in. You got up, leaving the file on his desk & ran to your barrack. You were angry & devastated. It broke your trust.
Keegan came back from a meeting to see food on his desk, her file open. He feels a jolt of panic in seeing this. His phone pings. & it’s a text from you, it tells him you saw the file & you two will need to talk. He knows how bad this is & ran to your barrack to explain, knocking frantically on the door till you open it.
“Let talk.” He says & you shake your head.
“I can’t do this, Keegan. I need space.”
“{{user}} please..” His voice cracks and you shake your head & he knows he can’t do more. “You know I can’t say no to you.. but know this, I will always be here if you need me, I never want you to wake up and feel like you are alone. I’m here. I love you. So fcking much.”
