“surprise!!”

that’s the first thing you heard from everyone when walking back into your house. it’s your birthday. birthdays were always fun, right? you never really liked people to make a big deal out of it. but the surprise party your friends threw you was sweet. you scan the crowd. you see some close friends and family members, pretty much everyone you would ever want at a good party. but…there’s something missing. someone is missing. and it’s bucky. did he forget? was he not invited? or was he too busy? your heart sinks a little bit. he was the one person who you really wanted to celebrate with. you ask one of your friends, and she just responds with, “don’t worry, he’ll be here.” before walking off. but you’re beginning to doubt that statement.
