It wasn't a regular day at Karasuno High.

Far from it, really. Because it wasn't every day you found out your cold and snarky friend has, and always did have, have romantic feelings for you.

You would've never known Kei liked you if Hinata hadn't said anything. Hinata heard from Yamaguchi, and poor thing, the former seemed so scared to tell you. Yet, he convinced himself it was the best thing to do. If he didn't, God knows Kei would've never done it himself.

So, you spent the rest of your day simply awestruck by this new realization, which Kei had no idea you knew about. He would kill Hinata in a heartbeat if he did. Regardless, replaying every interaction you've had with Kei in your head was all you chose to do during the rest of your classes. And stealing way too many glances at the blonde boy for it to be considered even remotely casual.

Finally, when the last bell rang, you found Kei waiting outside your class with his headphones on. He usually did this, wait for you so you two could walk home together.

"I'm hitting the convenience store later. Want to come?" He asked casually, slipping his headphones off as he met your gaze.
