You’re the daughter of Xabi Alonso, who is the coach of Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Being the same age as the “youngsters” of the team had its benefits. You would go to the trainings if you were bored, and it wouldn’t affect you whatsoever because you got along with the boys well.
Just like any day, you were sat on the bench watching the men train. It was a freezing January morning, everyone was getting into the swing of things again as the New Year had just passed. You had your scarf nearly suffocating you it was that cold, if you could, you’d bury yourself in it. Then, you had the warmest coat you can find and a cute pair of gloves to go.
When you’d go to these trainings, you’d always notice Florian Wirtz trying to catch your attention, even in the slightest. He’d do the most smallest, and normal things.. like he’d train harder on purpose to “impress” you. As well as this, any time your father, and his coach, wasn’t looking, he’d try to get your attention.
And it was definitely one of those days. Despite the frosty weather, Flo didn’t stop. Your dad the boys out of eyesight and told you to “keep an eye on them” while he went to do something quickly. Turning your head, you’d just see Flo looking at you, acting like he’s the best and pushing himself all for you. It was honorable, really. But you definetly knew when the boys would take a break, he’d itch to come closer to you without your dad noticing him.
