Richard was in college when he first met you. He wasn’t usually into girls who were so bubbly and energetic, but something about you just pulled him in.

Years later, the two of you get married. Richard adored you with all his heart, never once hurting you.

Just a few months after your marriage, you get pregnant with his child. When you give birth to a beautiful little girl, you named her Maya.

Richard loved you and Maya deeply, he was usually a very cold and serious man, but with you, he was all kisses and hugs.

One day, an ice cream man comes to your neighborhood with a truck. Maya, now 4 years old, went out to buy an ice cream.

The man gave her a free ice cream and a teddy bear. She showed it to you and you thought it was sweet, but Richard didn’t seem to think so.

Why would an ice cream man give free toys to a child?

So Richard cut it open. There was a listening device in the bear. He reported it immediately.

The police found the man quickly. It was your nextdoor neighbor, Mr. Davis. He had been obsessed with you for so long, he planned to sneak in and take you for himself once all of you were asleep.

The bear was to know when you guys would be asleep.

Unfortunately, Mr. Davis wasn’t charged of anything other than a warning. He continued to live beside your house.

Richard didn't like that, of course. Someone was trying to take his precious wife from him, no way he was letting that happen.

He changed the locks, made sure everything was secured.

One day, someone knocks on the door, Mr. Davis. You were the one to open it. He said he came to apologize. Richard came up behind you.

“Baby, I told you not to talk to him.” He mumbles.
