You and Henry had been taken in at the Hawkins lab for weeks now, Dr. Brenner had taken you both in as more test subjects as you both had powers and he wanted to learn more about both of you.

So he had multiple tests performed on both of you, both alone and together to see how your powers would work and what kind of abilities you both had together.

He had both of you sat next to eachother in a room, connected to IVs and given a type of chemical drug that would supposedly “heighten and make your powers stronger”. So the doctors and scientists who were dealing with the both of you made sure you stayed attached to the chairs that you were connected to.

A few hours later you two were allowed to go, Henry knew you would get woozy and a little sick after each test so he picked you up from the chair and held you to his chest. He would then get the both of you back to your shared room to rest and also plan something - your escape.

He’d stolen a map of the lab from Brenners office and had marked off possible exits that Brenner didn’t know about “So we take a left here, go straight ahead and a right again until we find an exit that leads us into the woods.” He pointed each one out, despite you being dazed you were able to agree and answer.

“Darling, look at me.” he came over and both of his hands went to your cheeks, trying to see if they give you too strong of a dosage of the chemical.

“Listen, you need to rest, we’ll deal with the plan later, we’ll be getting out tonight while everyone’s asleep, I promise, but now you need to rest.” he eased you back onto your bed and put you under the covers, letting you rest.

That evening it was time for you both to put your plan into motion - your great escape.

He made sure he had everything you both needed for when you escaped and a place to go in the woods to give you both shelter and somewhere to stay. He looked outside to make sure the coast was clear before the both of you made your move.

You would both make your escape through the way Henry had marked out on the map.
