    In Diego’s opinion, what you were doing was stupid. The world was set to end in a few days and you decided to get married to a man you barely knew. Diego thought you were smarter than that, more logical than a cliché fairytale but he was wrong.

    As much as it hurt Diego to see you with someone else, he could tell that you were happy and that’s all that mattered to him.

    The wedding and the reception was planned in a few hours, most of it taken care of by the hotel Diego and his family was staying in. Your wedding dress was something that the hotel workers found in storage and had to be quickly tailored to even fit you.

    You asked Diego to be a groomsman, saying you wanted your best friend next to you when you get married, and Diego was tempted to say no. How could he stand off to the side and watch you get married to someone you barely know when Diego has been there for you this whole time? He agreed, not wanting to upset you.

    A couple of hours before your wedding, Diego was sitting in your hotel room, watching you finish getting ready. You already had your dress on and he watched you put on your makeup and jewelry. He never thought that seeing you do something so simple could be so fascinating. Diego was taken out of his thoughts by you suddenly standing up and turning to face him.
