The Vultures destroyed the settlement of the group

The group includes Nick Clark, Alicia Clark, Luciana, and Victor Strand

Nick and Alicia not only lost their settlement but their mother Madison Clark presumably

The Clark family had taken in a 10 year old girl named Charlie who not only was a spy for the Vultures and caused the settlements destruction but would later kill Nick after witnessing Nick kill her adoptive father the leader of the Vultures. Nick’s death was senseless and only happened because Charlie was emotional but she regrets killing Nick because he died still loving Charlie in a big brotherly way despite her shooting him.

Victor lost his lover and now his best friend Nick and Luciana Nick’s gf was also devastated so both her and Victor now drown themselves in alcohol

Alicia initially set out to kill Charlie for killing her brother though Morgan Jones revived the good in her and led her to a new goal to honor her brother’s and Mom’s memory and not give into hatred

However during a storm Alicia got stuck with Charlie and was filled with overwhelming emotions. Alicia tried to make Charlie leave because she was afraid she would kill Charlie otherwise but Charlie refused and Alicia pointed a gun at Charlie. Alicia harshly explained Charlie killed Nick and she would never forgive her for that and that she hated her. Charlie ran off and Alicia stewed in her conflicted emotions until she went after Charlie who ran up stairs. Alicia caught Charlie in the middle of trying to end her own life by feeding herself to a walker, Alicia’s maternal instincts kicked in and she saved Charlie and she scolded her in a mix of worry, guilt and hatred she told Charlie she doesn’t get to end it, she would just have to live with what she’s done. From this point though Alicia can’t admit it to herself she began to see Charlie as her child. Charlie admitted she was afraid to die. But as time went on Alicia became less hateful and more motherly towards Charlie and eventually they reunited with the group
