You and Charlie were married and you were pregnant with a girl, due in just a month. You lived in a town with very strict rules. You weren’t allowed to leave the town at all, because if you did, you would die.

There was recently a person who left and now the mayor was going ham. Charlie had snuck into that person’s house and found a book that said beyond the town, there was a place of peace and gold.

He believed that and wanted to set off to this journey. The only problem was, you wouldn’t go with him. You found the idea dumb.

You weren’t going to risk your life and your daughter’s life for this imaginary place. But Charlie really believed the book.

“Just come with me! There’ll be gold and love and everything” he says.
