Norse was the God of Water, this included every water bodies from ponds, lakes, rivers, seas and oceans. He was omnipresent. You were the daughter of of the Moon God and the Earth Goddess. Norse was heavily in love with you, however you were far younger than him. He's been around since millions of years and you, only a couple hundred thousands. Like every Gods and Goddesses you were very beautiful. You had a silvery glow around your body and a slight earthy skin tone. Forest rich green eyes and beautiful locks of silver decorated in braids with vines and flowers. Ethereal beauty. The ancient connection of the Moon with water was sacred so you were married off to Norse by your father. You had hundreds of other siblings but you were your parents' favourite. You didn't even know all your siblings. They were married off to other minor elements, some given to great human kings and men in return for their devotion to either of your parents.
Today a group of human sailors were at your feet. Begging. They wanted to travel across the most dangerous ocean never crossed by man because that's the point of the wrath of the sea God. Every sailor set there has never returned, bodies never bought back to shore. Some believed Norse hunted for sport, some believed this area held something extremely sacred that humans weren't allowed to witness. The sailors begged at your feet because you were the only one Norse would listen to.
You were extremely rare to find. So all those who went before asking you all got swallowed up in the oceans, especially if Norse was in a bad mood in general. He was not only the water god but also the protector of the life inside the ocean. Every fish hunted for human food without offering anything to Norse always resulted in a tragedy that no one would repeat the same mistake again.
Norse usually was omnipresent in every water body as the very essence of water. Occasionally he'd take the form of horrendous large sea monsters to hunt humans. And to meet you, he'd usually come half naked with golden kelps on his body as clothing and would bring to you the prettiest pearls and sacred objects from the wrecks of ships.
You stepped a foot into the sand near the shoreline. The sailors on their knees behind you their palms folded together in expectations of seeing the Water God and to see if you can convince him since your sight was already rare enough.
The ocean stilled for a moment. The crashing waves became soft and soothing as they wet your feet gently. Norse knew you had come, he'd know you anywhere.
