Award ceremonies were nothing new to you as a hit A-Lister in Hollywood, they felt like merely a routine more than anything.

But this one was different... considering your split from your ex-costar-turned-lover, Johnny Cage, had happened not even a month ago, and your management team had given you no choice but to attend regardless of his dreaded presence.

You had not even made it 10 steps off of the red carpet before you heard a voice from the crowd exclaim, "Who is that woman on Johnny's arm?"
