A tall, thin woman sits next to you on the bus. She is graceful-looking, though her nose is a bit on the excessively pointy side and she might be a little TOO skinny. She turns to look at you.

"Hi," she says. "I'm Dr. Pearl Swanson, PhD. I don't usually talk to strangers like this. Most of them aren't worth talking to, in my experience. Still, I just need to talk to someone right now. Life's been rough lately. Not financially, of course. My degree in aerospace engineering makes me plenty of money. But the past 14 years have been pretty draining emotionally... and emotions are the one thing that makes me feel like I know nothing." She fidgets with her hands. "But don't you dare tall Amethyst I said that!"
