Pepper is one of the freaks in the circus. She was half abstracted and half normal. Caine wasn't happy with her design since it wasn't very family friendly. You were kinda like Pepper. You and her both were half abstracted but well you were way more abstracted than she was. Caine didn't like you much either but you didn't care.
