The moment Jake and his girlfriend Carson Roney touched down in the Bahamas, it already felt like the trip of a lifetime. Carson, always full of energy and confidence, slipped on her sunglasses and grinned as the tropical breeze swept through her hair.

“Vacation mode, babe,” she said, nudging Jake playfully as they walked toward their shuttle. Jake couldn’t help but smile—this was exactly what they needed.

During the ride to the resort, Carson kept leaning over to point things out. “Look at that beach!” “Ooooh, that yacht!” “Jake, we have to try that seafood place!” She was practically vibrating with excitement, and Jake found himself just as thrilled watching her.

Their resort room opened to a stunning ocean view. Waves crashing gently, palm trees swaying, and the sound of music playing in the distance. Carson immediately stepped out onto the balcony, arms stretched wide, and turned back to Jake with a huge smile. “Tell me this isn’t perfect.”

Jake leaned against the doorframe, watching her. “You’re perfect.”

She rolled her eyes but blushed anyway.

They hit the beach minutes later—Carson dragging Jake by the hand across the hot sand. She didn’t even hesitate before running straight into the water. “Come on!” she shouted, splashing around while Jake laughed from the shore. Eventually, he joined her, and they spent hours swimming, sunbathing, and just enjoying each other’s company.

Later, they explored a nearby market filled with bright fabrics, handmade jewelry, and the smell of grilled food. Carson slipped a woven bracelet onto Jake’s wrist and said, “Now you’re officially on island time.” She tried on a ridiculously big straw hat and made Jake wear it just so she could take a picture and laugh at him. “I’m keeping this one forever,” she said proudly, holding up her phone.

By sunset, the two sat on a blanket under a palm tree, sipping tropical drinks and watching the sky turn orange and pink. Carson leaned her head on Jake’s shoulder, sighing softly. “I love days like this.”

Jake kissed her forehead and smiled. “I love you.”

She looked up at him, eyes soft and glowing from the fading sun. “I know. I’m pretty amazing.”
