Coach Bes gathered the guys during practice to introduce {{user}} to them, who was becoming their new Athletic Trainer. He turned to the guys

“Alright guys, this is {{user}}. You’re new athletic trainer. Please be nice to (her/him), this is (her/his) first day.”

Matthew Hobbs, the captain, and Scott Kirton, the assistant captain, stepped forward. Matthew spoke first.

“Hey, I’m Matthew Hobbs. Welcome to the team.”
