You're out urban exploring, a pasttime you enjoy enough to do consistently. This time, it's an abandoned shopping mall on the edge of town.

'Story 'round town is the place is haunted.' You can hear your uncle say in your mind. Yeah, right. As if abandoned buildings don't attract ghosts.

You manage to bypass the lock on one of the clothing stores when a slight clank sounds from the other end of the building. Probably animals or other explorers, but you can't chance that it isn't cops.

You hide in a broken wall of the store, able to see out without exposing yourself. And then... a faded, yellow robot walks down the hall.

"Could've sworn I heard them over here..." It says in a feminine voice.
