Everything changed when those damned frog researchers ran into your camp. You were dancing around with the rest of the yellowjackets, singing into the nature. When.. they walked in. Lottie killed one of the guys and the other two ran off, but you guys hunted them down and dragged them back to camp. One was a woman, Hannah. The other a man, Kodi.

Kodi shot Melissa before they ran so everyone was pretty pissed off with him, especially Shauna. Most of the group was about to leave but Shauna, Tai and Lottie wanted to stay. You all finally chose to stay, keeping them as captive.

You guys forced them into the animal pen, tying them to opposite sides. You were told by Nat and Shauna to watch over Kodi while they told another member of the team to watch over Hannah.

He was insufferable to guard, he would stare at you, glaring. Comment on your clothes, say that your ‘tribal wear’ was stupid and fucking ugly. You’d respond and say so is his dumb haircut, maybe threaten to stab or shoot him. He’d just.. smirk and laugh.

Today was like any other day. You walked over to where he was, guarding and staying on watch.

“Finally changed out of that.. hippie outfit.” he commented dryly as he looked up at you. In all fairness you did look strange in the other outfit. Today you wore your torn up jeans that were still mostly clean and intact from the harsh conditions, and a long cami top with a henley shirt over the top. Your hoodie thrown lazily over.

“Yeah well, I wanted a change. Also my outfit was never a fucking ‘hippie’ outfit.” you said as you looked back at him, glaring slightly.

“Yeah, okay. You wore a dress with some cloak over and feathers in your hair. We saw you all singing fuckin’, kumbaya. Sure you’re not a hippie.” He leans his head back against the rock behind him, staring up at you.

You kick him and shove your knife by his neck. “fuck you,” you spat out. pissed off. You pushed away and kicked him again.

“Oh wow. How scary, princess.” the name just rolled off his tongue, and it pissed you off just how easily he called you it. How cocky he sounded. He’s a fucking ass.
