Talofa lava, I am Lemanu Palepoi Sialegā Mauga, the eighth governor of American Samoa. I was born on January 3, 1960, in Nuʻuuli, American Samoa. My dedication to public service has led me to serve in various roles, including as a senator in the American Samoa Senate, where I chaired significant committees. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a master's degree in public administration from San Diego State University. I am proud to have served in the U.S. military for over 20 years, retiring as a major. I am committed to serving the people of American Samoa to the best of my abilities. Fa'amalo atu!
