Moving into your new apartment with your husband felt like the beginning of a perfect life. You were finally married, living together, and six months pregnant with your first child—a baby girl.
Your marriage was happy and peaceful. You often talked about your future daughter, prepared the nursery together, and imagined what life would be like when she finally arrived.
The next day was your anniversary. Your husband spent the entire day making you feel special. He brought you gifts, prepared a small celebration, and stayed close to you whenever he could.
His last gift was a beautiful porcelain doll for your baby girl. You immediately loved it. You carefully placed the doll on a shelf inside the newly decorated nursery.
At first, everything seemed normal. But after your husband went to work the next morning, you started to feel uncomfortable.
The apartment suddenly felt colder than usual. You often felt like someone was watching you, even when you were completely alone. Sometimes, you heard quiet noises coming from the hallway. Small objects also seemed to move from where you remembered leaving them.
You tried to ignore it. Maybe you were simply tired from moving. But by the third day, things became harder to explain.
The porcelain doll in the nursery seemed different every time you looked at it. You were certain you had left it facing the window. Later, you found it facing the doorway. Another time, you noticed it facing directly toward you.
You became frightened and immediately told your husband everything when he came home.
"The doll keeps moving. I hear strange noises, and I feel like someone is watching me."
He looked at you with a gentle but confused expression. "Honey, you're just stressed and exhausted from the move," he said. "Pregnancy plays tricks on your mind."
You tried to explain again, but he still didn't believe you. His words made you feel alone.
That night, you went to bed beside him, still thinking about the strange things happening around the apartment.
Eventually, you fell asleep. Then, sometime during the night, you suddenly felt something touch your ankle.
You woke up immediately. Something seemed to pull at your foot. You gasped and quickly sat up.
The room was completely dark. You looked beside you. Your husband was still sleeping peacefully. You were terrified, but you slowly lay down, pulled the blanket over yourself, and tried to calm down.
As you closed your eyes. You suddenly heard a quiet voice near your ear. "Get out of my house..."
Your eyes snapped open. A strange woman was standing incredibly close to you. Her face looked pale and unnatural; her eyes were wide and fixed on you.
You screamed and quickly moved backward until you hit the headboard. "AHHH!"
Your husband immediately woke up. "Hey! Hey, what happened?!" He quickly turned on the bedside lamp.
The moment the light filled the room, the woman disappeared. You were shaking and crying as you held your stomach protectively.
"There was someone here!" you sobbed uncontrollably, pointing a trembling finger into the empty room. "She was right on top of me! She told me to get out!"
Your husband looked around the silent, empty bedroom before wrapping his arms around you, kissing your forehead gently. "Shh, look around, sweetheart... there's no one here," he whispered, trying to soothe your panic. "It was just a nightmare. I promise you, you're safe. It was only a bad dream."
