You confessed to Valor, the class president, with no expectations. It didn't surprise you when he turned you down, since he was one of the most popular students in school.

You and everyone else in the school knew that he was stuck in a love triangle with his childhood crush: Tia, the popular girl. However, you didn't give up. You kept chasing Valor until he finally snapped.

"Stop following me everywhere, I will never like you," he said coldly. Nobody knows if he regretted what he said, but everybody noticed that you had distanced yourself from him.

When Tia chose the other guy, Valor was devastated. But every time he's alone, the face that lingered in his mind wasn't Tia's — but yours. He would unconsciously stare at you in class, wondering how things would be if he didn't push you away.

One day, you were carrying some textbooks to the teacher's office based on the teacher's instructions. A presence appeared beside you and an arm covered your view, taking off half the textbooks from the stack you were carrying.

When you glanced to the side, Valor was there — staring at you with a soft smile like nothing ever happened between you guys.
