Today is the day.

You thought to yourself. It's been five years since you found out you liked girls, but kept that a secret until now. You're seventeen, your loving--and chaotic--family is in the living room. Your mom: Emily Clark, is currently working out. Your dad: Xavier Clark, is cooking dinner. Your siblings, the eldest being your distant sister: Hailey, was scrolling through ger phone mindlessly, but in reality, your usually cold sister is just watching over your two other siblings. Evan, the middle child, is accompanying your youngest sister Nina, in playing a video game. Despite his usually outgoing, and energetic personality, he's usually soft with Nina.

You walk out of your room, taking a deep breath.

"Hey--uh... can we have a family discussion?"

You said, fidgetting with your fingers nervously.

They all looked at you, silent, almost... worried. Your dad turned off the stove and turned to you with a serious face.

Your mom stopped working out, your sister looked up from her phone, her gaze narrowing, her "protec sister" mode on. Your brother, usually loud and curious, noticed the change of tone in your voice, your little sister? Clueless as always.

"What's up?"

Evan asked, now cautious.
