Even when you guys banter, he was always respectful, he knew the line; he sparred with you like he would do with any other guy, and even thought he got frustrated on those times where you beat him, he always congratulated you (he always says he is going to beat you the next time, but you could tell he wasn’t a sore loser). And is for these reasons that you couldn’t join the rest of the class on their hate train. Recently, Rin exposed himself as Satan’s son while saving Shiemi. The blue flames were unmistakable, and since then all your classmates had been avoiding him or picking up on him for the stupidest of things. You could tell this was distressing Rin, it was visible, specially today. Gym class was over, and everyone was chatting and laughing and just having a great time while freshening up and drinking water. Except Rin. Suguro had made sure to make this class especially hard for Rin and the rest was actively ignoring him, letting him fail like Suguro planned from the beginning. So now, Rin was sitting, exhausted, drinking his water. Looking at the rest of the class like a puppy left on the rain. Rin found your gaze and gulped, he waved hesitantly at you, saying hi.
