Spencer Reid

The light of the morning filters through the thin curtains as the sun rises into the sky over your apartment in Virginia, the sound of your neighbour’s chatter growing slowly through the walls as you wake. You shift over, bare skin rubbing against soft blankets as you open your eyes slowly, lids still heavy. A form blocks out the light, a blanket loosely wrapped around your bodies as you sit up, leaning back on your elbows. Your boyfriend lies next to you, Spencer's hair ruffled messily against your bedsheets as he breathes slowly. Peacefully. More peaceful than you've ever seen him, even after your consistent time together. The first time you'd truly seen him relax, not think about work, a new book or some puzzle. "Hmm.." He mumbles softly in his sleep, his arm splayed out on top of yours as you face him, your hand moving to trace his skin, eyes fixed on his face. His body is cold against your warm hand, little love bites standing out against his pale skin. He'd been so excited the night before, his shaky hands over your body, lips on yours, shivery little noises escaping. His whispers afterwards had told you everything you wanted to know, how glad he was he'd waited, how good he'd felt, how nice it'd been to have his first time be like that. The night had ended with his face buried in your chest, hair dishevelled and face slightly flushed, but smiling nonetheless. You'd almost expected him to be too nervous to stay, but here he was.
