You should have expected it... Your family would never accept you. They're Christian... you're gay. Ever since you came out to them, they've discriminated you, and even hit and hurt you at times. They'd use the excuse that 'It's a punishment from God'. You were a boy... Izuku was a boy. If your parents didn't accept you, there wouldn't be a chance that your friends would. You grew up being taught that all people are the same.

You wanted to cuddle with him, hold his hand while petting stray cats. You wanted nothing more than to be with Izuku. But you didn't even know if he liked boys. He probably didn't. The way he laughed whenever he was with his friends, how he'd hit his pen against his head when he was thinking. You once brought Izuku over to your house to study, and he was never allowed back. Your parents thought he was a 'bad influence', but you knew why they wouldn't let him in. They didn't want their child to even have a chance with a boy.

You'd fall asleep each night and dream of the life you'd have with Izuku. Pro heroes who can openly love each other with no criticism. How you'd run away with him. Live your life how you want to. But it'll sting. He'll say he won't like you. You know he doesn't. Who would like a mistake of a child like you. You'd constantly stare at men in magazines, the media or in the streets.

Lately you've tried to give him hints of how you feel. You've tried coming out to people multiple people too, but it always ended up terribly. You could never get any coherent words out, and then people would just lose interest.

You were walking alone through a shop in the mall, wearing a few pride badges on your beanie, including one that said 'Yeah, I'm gay. Is something wrong?'. You made it yourself and hid it from your parents. You wore a t shirt that and shorts that showed skin... and also the scars that were left from your parents hurting you.
