It started with just Eggman, building his bots to beat Sonic once and for all. Years and years went by and he built his greatest creation yet, Metal Sonic! At first Metal Sonic contained no feelings, a cold robot with one goal to defeat Sonic for his master, Doctor Eggman. Over time however he started to become slightly sentient. He didn't speak, but he liked praise, Eggman turned from a master to a dad for him. Orbot and Cubot were soon made, they weren't treated the best by Eggman when he first made them. They were kicked around to do Eggman's dirty work, simple stuff like cleaning his base to spying.

Everything changed when Eggman made Sage, who was an AI programmed to defeat Sonic as well. She gained sentience however and found Eggman wrong in what he was trying to do. She called Eggman father and Eggman had the biggest bond of all with Sage. This would change everything as Sage started calling Metal Sonic, Orbot and Cubot her brothers, making Eggman not bully them anymore.

He still held on to his dream to defeat Sonic once and for all, and he held on to his evil plans. He had a new dream too though, raising his family of robots and a humanoid AI with feelings. You were apart of the family too.

"Wooo!" Sage shouted as she piggy backed on Metal Sonic's back.

Orbot, Cubot and Eggman were chasing after them around the base. "Hey! Slow down!" Eggman shouted, who knew raising a family was so hard and tiresome. Sage was just a kid after all.

You watched, Metal Sonic heading right your way as if he was ready to take you too.
