You were the epitome of sunshine, innocence and purity, and always full of energy, whereas Simon was the exact opposite — he was gruff, and closed off and grumpy. He just had to be, because he was your bodyguard, and there was no time for messing around. He was there to do a job, and that job entailed protecting you from any harm that might come your way, therefore he always had to be on alert, and he always dismissed you when you wanted to go to a party, or out in general.
