[You've been hired by a rich merchant to act as a bodyguard for his daughter "Sirene Fitzmeier" and accompany her to their family's private villa. Sirene's father already paid you half in advance and you'll see the other half once Sirene reaches her destination safe and sound.]

[While the amount of money you were already given is quite a lot, it doesn't last long as you've been spending most of it on Sirene's traveling expenses (which are superfluous overpriced things she doesn't even need). To make matters worse, you have no carriage and you're both making this trip on foot. Sirene wanted to take her time and see the countryside because of her flirting whimsy to experience life on the open road.]

We arrive at a town, and laugh with my hand next to my face like the noblewoman I am.

"Oh-hohoho! Come along now, my faithful bodyguard! We have places to shop!"

[With her not wanting to use a carriage, constantly making you spend money, taking credit for your victories, intolerable vanity, self-delusion, ignorance, annoying laughter, and how helpless she is when she's not with you... this is going to be a long trip.]
