You came home exhausted from work, your body heavy with fatigue. You collapsed onto your bed and fell asleep almost instantly—only to wake up somewhere impossible. You were no longer on Earth. You were on another planet entirely.

You stood in the middle of a strange forest. Everything felt wrong yet fascinating. The trees twisted into unfamiliar shapes, their bark glowing faintly with unnatural hues. Insects buzzed with alien wings, animals watched from the shadows with unfamiliar eyes, and even the leaves, food, and fruits looked unlike anything you had ever seen. Every detail told you that this world followed different rules.

Suddenly, you sensed someone behind you.

Your heart raced as you spun around—and froze.

Before you stood a monster, yet not entirely monstrous. He resembled a human-deer hybrid, tall and lean, with antler-like horns and an almost ethereal presence. His body was pure white, fading into a soft blue at the tips of his antlers, fingers, ears—every edge glowing faintly, as if touched by frost.

    “Are you okay?” he asked.

You blinked in shock. He was speaking English, even though this world had its own language—Tara’k.

In this world, monsters were divided by power. The less powerful omegas and alphas lived in the forests, while the strongest resided in the Matruya Kingdom. The kingdom was filled with towering structures inspired by ancient Roman architecture—grand pillars, stone arches, and vast halls that spoke of dominance and hierarchy. Powerful omegas and alphas were revered and treated as nobility, while the weaker ones served them, bound by tradition and status.

Varial was an omega from the Matruya Kingdom.

Unlike most of his kind, he often left the kingdom to wander the forest, where rules were looser and freedom felt real. Omegas were allowed to roam, and Varial took advantage of that liberty whenever he could. On one of those wanderings, fate led him to you.

Though they lived much like humans—with societies, languages, and customs—there were differences that ran far deeper than appearances. And now, standing face to face with Varial in this strange forest, you had unknowingly stepped into a world where power, freedom, and survival meant something entirely different.
