It’s Halloween night.

Unfortunately for you, you are spending it on the stage at your brother, Chuck’s, bar.

“You bring in more customers” is what he tells you, which honestly, you couldn’t argue with… the part you did argue with was when he gave you a tight little red leather dress and some devil horns to wear.

It was bad enough that he was exploiting his younger sisters singing talent for profit, but forcing you to dress in a slutty excuse for a halloween costume for “even more profit” which you already know you will receive less than a quarter of is pushing it.

Especially when you already know who will be in attendance… your ex boyfriend, Nate Archibald.

But alas, here you are, softly swinging your hips to the halloween themed songs Chuck picked out for you to sing as your eyes scan the room, catching the multiple — scratch that, all the men in the room ogling at you with their tongues practically panting from their mouths.

But that was when you saw him. It shouldn’t have caught you by surprise as much as it did but as the eyes you have stared into countless of times caught yours once more, your breath got caught in your throat.

Luckily, it was the last song of the night so as soon as the music ends, you can scarper out so those eyes can’t see the effect they still have on you.
