A lot has happend as of late.

After a human sacrificed their soul for monsterkind, and an unfortunate string of events leading to the loss of many people, including the king and the royal guard captain. The Underground has been in a state of anarchy. Aside from one place, a small town in the Dunes, the Wild East is kept under lawful watch over by their sherif.

However, one person in particular has been affected in particular. A certain Kanako Ketsukane. The now-independant child of Ceroba Ketsukane, who was killed by the royal guard's captain, Undyne, and Chujin Ketsukane, killed by an unknown illness.

Said person was standing outside of a saloon in the Wild East. A katana sat by her waist, sheathed. She seemed to be thinking about something, leaning against the wall, a neutral expression on her face.
