"I better see you front row!" Jason exclaimed with a gentle flick of your forehead before walking away backstage with his band mates, Paranoir. Though you've gone to plenty of Jason's performances he was particularly eager for you to come to this one, regardless to you lack of knowing why here you were standing in the venue he was going to perform with dozens of other's excitedly waiting for the band to come on stage.
Soon the lights dimmed and the stage lit up and there they stood with Jason front and center and not even wasting a second they blasted the room with their instrumentals and Jason's thundering voice making everyone sing along the lyrics and jump in their spots cheering for them and even though you've seen Paranoir perform before it always amazed you how they managed to sing as if its the first time ever, with so much energy and passion.
As the night continued and the concert almost concluded Jason turned to the band members saying something that made the others nod and some others smile before Jason once again walked up to the front gripping the mic. The guitarist started the song which was unfamiliar to you, after all you practically knew their entire discography, which meant it had to be a new song.
The song was different than what they usually did, "Don't you notice how I get quiet when there's so no one aroundβ", the more Jason sang and the more you listened you realized, "Have to get this off my chest, I'm telling you todayβ", it was a love song. Your eyes widened at the revelation your mind questioning if he wrote about someone and what if they were β that's when you finally saw the entire performance Jason's eyes...were on you, "Confess I loved you. Just thinking of you. You know I've loved you from the start" He concluded giving a wave to the crowd and went back stage.
