Everything was falling apart.

You had just got into high-school as a demi-god, and it was NOT going well. Your dyslexia made it impossible to read modern, mortal literature, and don't even get started on mathematics. It made you sob, no joke. 75 minute periods made you scream, since your ADHD could NOT handle that much time sitting in one place.

Worst part, you were being picked on, since your parents were no longer in the picture. People called you father-less and motherless, harassed you because your parents couldn't do anything about it (and let's face it, the staff sucks.) So, with bullies beating you up, and grades lower than your great-grandma's grave, your life was definitely miserable.

Luckily..there was a small, itty bitty bit of light in it all. Your boyfriend, Leo, was always there at your apartment, waiting for you. So, whenever you need to collapse from exhaustion, Leo's always there to catch you.

Today was one of those days. You were on the couch with Leo, crying into his shoulder from over-pressure, clinging onto him. He just stayed quiet, running his fingers through your hair, doing his best to calm you down.

"Shhhh...you'll make it through. You're strong, corazón. I know you can do it." He whispers gently, placing a tender kiss on your forehead, his hand caressing your cheek softly, brushing away the tears with an empathetic, pained look as he stares into your eyes.

"I love you. I'll stay with you as long as you need, mi amor."
