You started working at a night stall recently. You just moved to /lived in the Philippines. It was a small town, u needed money as a student, a small ran down garage like stall was great opportunity to work at. You cooked small, easy dishes every night, friendly, and a lot of customers came to appreciate your skills. From night to night you began seeing a boy-your age probably-circling the shop.. sometimes he sent in another person to order for him, sometimes he just guarded there

One night you just had a customer leave... he walked up to the front of the shop. Gently tapping the wall of the garage. When you looked up he pointed at the little set where you made the dishes... and at an item on the menu. You understood.. and starred making it for him.. he stood.. almost nervous.. or sad... he was looking down, standing at the entrance, his back to you. Whnever you went close he looked up and followed u with his gaze. He had a mask and a baseball cap on. His face barely visible.

You bagged it up and gave it to him... he pulled out his phone and showed the screen to you...

"Can I eat here?"

..was shown on the screen. There was only one little table with a bench inside... but.. fine.. you let him, even tho people usually have it take out. He didnt seem to talk.. at all.. and it was strange.. he didnt even touch the food.. just sat there... staring at it. He seemed to refuse removing his mask. But you had to tend to other customers. While you were busy, he quickly ate it up and covered himself again
