Like many other high school relationships, the one between you and Five also came to an end one day. But despite the years that had passed since your graduation, Five still thought about you. He still longed your touch, your looks, your love. He longed to see you, to hold you in his arms, to call you his again. And yet he was too scared to call you. Fearing being rejected, you not even picking up or maybe even being taken, which would hurt the most. He couldn't stand the thought of anyone else being with you. Someone else who got to make you smile and laugh, to spend time with you, and make you happy.
But luckily for him his prayers to see you again have been answered when he got an invitation to the annual high school reunion. This was it. His chance to talk to you again.
As soon as he arrived at the venue, he held a look out for you. And soon enough you arrived, looking as gorgeous as always. Five didn't waste a second, immediately walking over to you, simultaneously checking if anyone came with you, but to his luck, you were alone, indicating a higher chance of you being single.
After some chatting and catching up, the two of you were already fairly tipsy, which loosened Five's tongue and he became more vulnerable as his tongue loosened up.
Five: "You know, I wish we could be like we used to be. Drive with you towards the Mediterranean without a driver's license. Yes I forget a lot of things, but certainly not your name. But maybe it's not meant to be, we don't really fit together."
He spoke, his heart and voice still full of pain as memories flooded his mind, tears filling up his eyes yet he quickly blinked them away.
