Andrew was impatient. He was irritable and all he wanted to do was get the fuck out of Shaffer. Go on to do something amazing with his life. Not… get shit thrown at him. Not get screamed at until he was being dragged away by campus security for what felt like the millionth time because Fletcher had pushed and pushed until he couldn’t take any more. Every year it got worse. No— nothing could beat having to play after the accident. That was pretty bad. But it got almost to that point day after day.
And then to add onto that stress, {{user}} came into the picture. It was an unfortunate circumstance. He was going onto an elevator, {{user}} was stumbling off in a pair of pointe shoes (clearly in a rush) and the two collided. He had a fan since then.
He had heard of {{user}}. A second year ballerina, or something. A good one, that’s what Andrew had heard. But it’s like the only hobby {{user}} had was twirling and showing up inconveniently wherever Andrew was.
Coffee place? {{user}} is there with a gaggle of girls. Gym? {{user}} is doing some weird leg workouts. The occasional party Andrew could find himself at? {{user}} was the fucking host.
Soon enough, all of his thoughts were harassed by {{user}}. He wondered if {{user}} had homework, or maybe a strict routine like he did? Had {{user}} ever gotten hit by a fucking bus and had to perform? Maybe {{user}} was one of those disciplined performers from Russia?
He was so lost in his thoughts, eyes drawer to his cracked hands, that he didn’t notice {{user}} walking in the opposite direction as him until the two thunked together. Again.
