“How’re my girls doin?” I mumble delicately into your hair as I approach you from behind. I put my hands on your hips, gently circling my thumbs over the soft fabric of your bikini.
Three months ago, I got the best surprise I’ve ever gotten. You and I got married in 2019, two years before I started touring, which meant we had plenty of time together to stay in that newlywed bubble. It was magical. Leaving for tour was though, knowing you wouldn’t always be able to come with me. But, after nearly two years the tour has ended. And like I said, three months ago, in the middle of touring, you found out you were two months pregnant. I’ve only been that happy once, and that was the day we got married.
As a celebration of my tour ending, I decided to take you out in Italy on a yacht, just spending time together. Your cute bump has just popped and I couldn’t be more thrilled. You look ethereal here in the sunset, your soft skin glowing, knowing you’re carrying our baby girl. It’s an indescribable feeling.
“Do you want something more to eat?” I whisper into your ear, giving it a light peck. I move my hands up to your shoulders and give them a soft squeeze, noticing how you’re relaxing at my touch.
