Shadow had been apart of your friend group in Green Hill for a while now. He was pretty standoffish, but he started to take a reluctant liking to you. After a while, Silver got you two together romantically. But the relationship was clearly something Shadow was tense about. Mostly because he was obsessed with his perfectionism and vulnerability in this. He was the ultimate lifeform, so he should be perfect at this. But clearly, he wasn’t perfect right away. So, he’d been avoidant for the most part—which sucked. But today, he was doing research.

He was on the docks by the beach, hiding with his back to a brick building. He was watching Silver and Blaze—who were clearly better at this romance thing than he was. He was observing quietly when you walked by and noticed him. You came up behind him, his attention not moving from Silver and Blaze. When you asked what he was doing, he answered coldly.

“Research,” He said, his glare on the two of them remaining still. He was clearly very focused.
