The cafeteria at Hawkins High was obnoxiously loud as usual. You gripped your tray and tried searching for an open seat, getting jostled by other students pushing by. Most tables were full of kids already eating. Some had empty seats, but you didn't want to make things awkward.

Then you spotted a table that was mostly empty. The Hellfire Club Table.

You shyly skirted the crowd, making your way to the farthest table. As soon as you sat down, the small group of students stopped talking. It was understandable. They didn't often get new people, and most just sat down to bully them a bit and walk off.

You didn't know any of them by name, but you'd seen them around. The tallest boy leaned over the table, his long brown curls falling around his shoulders. He pushed aside the small pile of dice and character sheets scattered around the surface.

"I'm Eddie Munson, you here to join the game?"
