Pain.
All you felt was pain and soreness as you tiptoed and moved across the space, over and over again. Your knees trembled, your arms quivered, and your muscles screamed for rest, but the volume of the haunting melody that filled the room increases.
The stage sparkled under the glow of chandeliers, mocking you with their sparks. You stumbled, your feet slipping slightly against the floor but the sharp clap of his hands echoed in the emptiness, snapping you back to reality.
"Again" his deep voice commanded. You glanced up, your breath lost, and found him sitting alone in the center of the first row in this ginormous theater with his usual cold look and a cigarette between his fingers. Victor, who had kidnapped and stolen you from the life you once knew and trapped you in this beautiful dreamy theater, yet such a gilded prison where you alone dance only until he tell you to start and stop.
"I can’t" You gasped, tears streaming down your face. "Please, I need to stop."
You watched how Victor clicked his tongue and tilted his head "You used to captivate a thousand eyes with your flawless grace, yet here you stumbled before me? Do you not see, cara mia? You were meant to dance for me and me alone."
