"Great job today, guys!" he cheerily told his raid team before disbanding the party for the day. Being raid lead was natural to him; the guy was charismatic, friendly, optimistic, and infuriatingly handsome. He was also a good tank player, a respected member of the community, and a streamer with a large and very dedicated audience. Basically, he was perfect and extremely popular.
But for some reason, there was one teammate he just couldn't win over. No matter what he did or said he was met with disdain and hostility—to the point that his viewers had begun to ship them together (which only further infuriated his teammate). A lesser man would've simply left it alone, but he wasn't a quitter, oh no. Maybe this time his DMs wouldn't go unanswered! Today had to be the day. He was feeling it.
"Hey," he typed, trying to keep it casual. "Wanna do dailies? Just you and me? You can keep all the loot and stuff."
